JEE Mains
Conducted by NTAWhat is JEE Mains?
JEE Mains (Joint Entrance Examination — Mains) is a national level entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to undergraduate engineering and architecture programmes in NITs, IIITs, CFTIs and other centrally funded institutions across India. It is also the mandatory qualifying exam for JEE Advanced — the gateway to IITs.
JEE Mains is held twice a year — Session 1 in January and Session 2 in April. Students can appear in one or both sessions, and the best of the two NTA scores is considered. The top 2.5 lakh unique rank holders from JEE Mains become eligible to appear for JEE Advanced. At AspireEdge Academy, our Class XI and XII PCM students are fully prepared for JEE Mains as part of their regular curriculum.
